Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller believes that Anthony Joshua will fade after five rounds in their Madison Square Garden bout, leaving him to pounce with a seventh or eighth round knockout, the Daily Express report.
The pair have been involved in multiple heated press conferences in recent months ahead of Joshua’s first stateside bout, which is set to take place on June 1.
Both fighters have yet to taste defeat during their professional careers, with New Zealander Joseph Parker the only opponent Joshua has yet to knock to the canvas.
However, despite Joshua’s remarkable record, Brooklyn heavyweight Miller has given an interesting prediction.
Talking to Fight Hub TV, a confident Miller was asked if the Brit could cope with his conditioning ahead of the fight.
No, definitely not. Either way I got him.
Either way I got him beat: better chin, better conditioning, more punching.
Miller then went on to specifically add what rounds he could wrap up what would be a surprise win.
Seven to eight rounds, that clown gotta go. Seven to eight rounds, he fades after five.
If Joshua, the heavy favourite for the clash, does prevail stateside, the Brit could look to set up a unification fight with Deontay Wilder before the end of the year, however, talks have proven to be complex in the past.
