British heavyweight Tyson Fury will reportedly take on German Tom Schwarz in June for his next fight.
Fury last stepped inside the ring back in December against American and WBC champion Deontay Wilder.
The ‘Gypsy King’ appeared to be on course for a remarkable win over the ‘Bronze Bomber’, however, after being floored twice towards the end of the fight, the bout ended in a split decision draw.
A rematch between Fury and Wilder looked to be heading towards its announcement in recent weeks, however, Wilder decided against taking on Fury in the summer and will now face off against fellow countryman Dominic Breazeale.
Fury will now reportedly face Schwarz in Las Vegas on June 15, however, what do we know about the German?
Schwarz is 24 years old and stands at 6ft 6in tall. The German, who was born in Halle, turned professional back in 2013.
Schwarz has competed in 24 professional fights to date and has won them all. His last bout came earlier this month against Croat Kristijan Krstacic, with the German winning after a second-round knockout.
Standing at 6ft 6in, Schwarz adopts an orthodox stance, similar to Fury.
The towering German brings pace and power to the ring. Four knockouts in his previous five bouts tell you all you need to know about Schwarz, who can also take as good as he gives.
