Tyson Fury’s next fight will be against unbeaten German Tom Schwarz in June in Las Vegas, according to a report on ESPN.
The ‘Gypsy King’ was last in the ring against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, where he was floored twice, but still managed to draw the fight.
Many felt that Fury should have been named as the winner after dominating throughout the fight.
The Brit is now keen to build his profile in the USA and turned down a rematch offer from Wilder.
Fury went on to sign a promotional deal with ESPN and he’s set to fight Schwarz on 15th June at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
24-year-old Schwarz is undefeated in 24 fights, winning 16 by KO. However, he has not come up against anyone that is at the level of Fury.
Schwarz is currently ranked in second place on the WBO rankings, whilst Fury sits in fourth so this could be an intriguing battle.
There is no confirmation of the bout yet but the news is expected to come from both camps soon.
