Lennox Lewis believes that out of the current heavyweight giants, Tyson Fury would’ve given him the most trouble inside the ring.
Fury returned to the ring last summer after a two-and-a-half-year absence from the sport, defeating Sefer Seferi and Francesco Pianeta.
The 30-year-old then faced off against WBC champion Deontay Wilder in Los Angeles at the end of 2018 and almost claimed a remarkable victory, with the judges controversially ruling the bout a split decision draw.
Many have been impressed with Fury’s return to the ring, including Lewis, who lost just once during his professional career.
And talking to TMZ, the all-time heavyweight great, who defeated boxing legends Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield during his career, revealed that he could’ve struggled against Fury.
I think Tyson Fury would’ve given me some trouble because he’s so big. He’s a bit lanky.
However, Lewis then added that he believes he would have defeated Fury in his prime and gave a specific prediction.
I would break him down probably by the 10th round, I would break him down. But, he would give me some problems.
It is unclear as to who Fury will take on next, with the Brit looking to compete at least three times before the end of 2019.
