British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has revealed that he believes that Joseph Parker does not have enough power to knock him out, according to a report on the Daily Star.
Joshua, who currently holds the IBF, IBO and WBA heavyweight titles will face WBO champion Parker at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on 31st March.
Parker has suggested that he will overcome the odds to cause a huge upset by knocking out Joshua, but the British fighter has hit back at his opponent by claiming that he does not have what it takes to floor him.
Both fighters are currently in their respective training camps preparing the biggest fight of their careers.
He says I have a glass chin, I want to see if he has the power.
I don’t think he has enough power in his hand to detonate on my chin and knock me out.
Joshua is hoping to weigh in significantly lower for this fight than his previous ones, as his promoter Eddie Hearn pointed out that the huge amount of muscle he was carrying made him tire out a lot quicker than many of his rivals.
Joshua found it difficult to get past Carlos Takam in his most recent fight and was slightly fatigued as the fight approached the tenth round, but after losing some weight he is expected to move around a lot smoother in this fight.
