Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that he would welcome Tyson Fury to his organisation and would offer him fights with the likes of Tony Bellew and Anthony Joshua, according to a report on the Boxing News.
Fury has been gearing up for his hugely anticipated comeback to the sport but is yet to announce his returning fight, although he has claimed that he is on the verge of a “massive, massive deal”.
The former heavyweight champion has always been keen on fighting Joshua and if he were to sign up with Matchroom, then he could get the fight that he desires.
We’ve had some conversations, as I think he’s talking to everybody right now. We’ll see.
Of course if he comes with us, it’s a very straightforward road to a lot of big heavyweight fights. Of course, Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte, Tony Bellew, some big Box Office pay-per-view fights for him and ultimately the grand prize of Joshua because that is a huge fight.
Hearn has stated that he will welcome Fury with open arms and could reward him with a huge fight with Joshua at some time.
Joshua is currently gearing up to face New Zealand heavyweight Joseph Parker at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on 31st March.
