Anthony Joshua wary of the dedication of Joseph Parker
Joseph Parker’s trainer Kevin Barry reveals that British heavyweight Anthony Joshua is wary of the dedication of his fighter, according to a report on Sky Sports.
Plenty of people seem to be writing Parker off before the fight but Joshua understands that this will possibly be the toughest test of his career.
Both heavyweight fighters are undefeated and will face off in the ring on 31st March at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Barry said:
Anthony Joshua knows that Joseph Parker will be preparing every bit as hard as he is. We’re talking about two young, undefeated, hungry world champions, who are going to put everything on the line on March 31.
We have waited a long time for this opportunity and both these guys have had each other in their sights for a long time.
The winner is expected to take on American Deontay Wilder in a heavyweight unification fight, with Wilder wanting to face Joshua.
Barry has suggested that Parker will attempt to use his speed and movement to wear out Joshua, who they believe lacks the stamina to last the full 12 rounds.
Wilder is expected to be at the Principality Stadium to watch his potential next opponent and has even promised to enter the ring if Joshua wins to go face to face with the British fighter.
