Heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder has predicted that he will knock out challenger Luis Ortiz within three rounds when they meet in the ring on 3rd March, according to a report on Fight News.

Wilder is the current WBC heavyweight champion of the world but faces Ortiz, who has not lost a professional fight in his career.

However, American Wilder is confident that he can get this fight out of the way as quickly as possible before hunting down British heavyweight Anthony Joshua.

Wilder said:

People ask me the round and I always see threes. This year is a magical year. It’s the year of the 33. So, I see threes everywhere. I see three rounds or less, maybe shorter than that. It all depends on how I feel when I see him.

Wilder is also undefeated as a professional and has his eyes set firmly on a unification fight with Joshua, who faces Joseph Parker on 31st March at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, where Wilder will be present.

The American is going to be on broadcasting duties at the fight and has also promised that if Joshua wins, then he will go into the ring after the fight to go face to face with the British fighter.

Wilder has said that he hopes Joshua wins so he can have the fight that he desires and if the two meet, it is expected to be one of the biggest heavyweight clashes in the history of boxing.
