Earlier today, Anthony Joshua sent a Tweet telling the ‘fat’ Tyson Fury to get fit (with an added expletive thrown in for good measure!).

Fury, who is eying a comeback to boxing and a possible super fight against Joshua in the near future, responded to the heavyweight champion’s message with a social media post of his own.

He took to Instagram to release a video, which he directed to “the weight lifter, big Anthony Joshua, the big, tough man” in which he said:

I don’t need to get fit for somebody like you, at all. I can come to you and I punch your face right in for you, even at 25 stone, so I really don’t need to get fit for you!

Fury went on to dismiss Joshua’s ability and even gave him some tips on how he should get better.

You had to fight a midget the other day and the referee had to stop it incase you got caught, or beat. Bum city like I always said! Useless! No gas, no stamina, too many weights! You want to practice on a bit more speed and less power. Bum!

Joshua is eying a fight with the undefeated WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder and if he wins that, a fight with Fury could be on the cards if the former champion is able to get himself into fighting shape and get his revoked boxing licence back.
