Welcome to Read Boxing’s blog for Bad Intentions. The main event tonight is Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte, but we will be covering some of the undercard in full as well starting with Tony Bellew vs Mateusz Masternax at around 7:45pm.
Well, what a night of boxing.
Campbell lost along with Kevin Mitchell.
Wins for both Eubank Jr and Tony Bellew in convincing manners.
Anthony Joshua continues his destructive heavyweight path and 2016 is going to be an exciting year for the young British heavyweight.

Whyte did well to last the first two rounds, but Joshua’s constant barrage eventually wore Whyte down and now his undefeated record has vanished.
What 2016 holds for Anthony Joshua nobody knows, but one thing is for certain, his world title challenge is on the horizon.

Joshua beats Whyte by knock out within 1 minute of Round 7, Joshua was clearly the more dominant fighter.

Whyte is struggling to land any punches as Joshua has gained control of the fight. It will only take one mistake for Whyte to get knocked out. Joshua’s punches are clearly more powerful and this fight could end at any moment!

Joshua managed to land an early blow to Whyte, but Joshua seems to have settled down and hit a rhythm. However, Whyte’s stamina is shining through despite being hit multiple times. This round is Joshua’s simply due to the amount of successful blows he has managed to land.

Whyte looking a bit shaky on his legs, but straight away hits Joshua with all sorts of punches. Joshua is taking the hits well and is dodging some. This fight is certainly living up to the expectations. Still both fighters exchange words following the bell.

Whyte looked stronger as Joshua is now being hit constantly and is now stepping into unknown territory. Now we will see whether Joshua can live up to the hype and last past a few rounds.

Whyte turned the tables round in this round as he lands some big blows on Joshua. Both fighters really going at it. Joshua being tested. We will be lucky to see this fight go more than 6 rounds.

A brawl has broken out in the middle of the ring as Joshua hits Whyte following the bell. However, Joshua could have finished Whyte off straight away as Whyte endured a barrage of punches. Joshua already looking like he is going to win.

Joshua has brought grime rapper Stormzy to help his entrance.
The Sky Sports pundits predict a Joshua win, now it is time for the moment of truth.
Both undefeated fighters, Joshua and Whyte are about to make their entrances. The atmosphere at the O2 is electric, hopefully this fight can last longer than a few seconds.

His KO record stands for itself, he caught Mitchell with a clean jab and basically KO’d him with it.
Barroso wins on stoppage. He’s taken a big scalp in Mitchell and surely Crolla must be worried about his first defence.

Well Mitchell was poor there. Barroso’s lightening hands caught him with some great counters and on the ropes for a good old shootout. I have Barroso 1 round in front.

Mitchell managed to block a few of the shots and gets himself out of trouble. Only to lunge in and get caught with a quick left.

End of R12 Bellew could have ended the match at the start of this round with a strong right hook and Bellew does deserve the victory. Bellew battered Masternak for a minute, but somehow Masternak did not fall down. Bellew looks to have won here on points.
End of R11 Masternak fell to the floor in the opening stages and tried to get away with a few hits around the back of Bellew’s head. The aggression has reached boiling the point and this final round is going to be a great end to the fight.
End of R10 Both fighters really went for it in that round with Bellew taking a lot of shots from Masternak. We are in for an exciting finish to this fight.
End of R9 Both fighters were unloading in that round to the extent where both fighters had to be broken up. The fight has gone onto another level of intensity.
End of R8 Masternak has stepped up his attack now, landing plenty of headshots and Bellew has no way to reply to that. At the moment, Masternak is looking the more likely to win as we go into round 9.
End of R7 Masternak was looking the more dominant, frequently forcing Bellew onto the ropes and landing some dangerous punches. Bellew is still in it but needs to step up in round 8.
End of R6 A more intense round of boxing, the two styles of both fighters is now beginning to emerge. Masternak is adopting a more clumsy approach whilst Bellew is trying to box in a clean and sophisticated way.
End of R5 A very scrappy round from Bellew and Masternak. A lot of leaning on the ropes and missed punches. Hopefully the quality can get better in round 6.
End of R4 A more quieter round, Masternak looking a bit clumsy, but Bellew is coping well with that and seems to be the more dominant fighter at this current moment.

End of R5 A very scrappy round from Bellew and Masternak. A lot of leaning on the ropes and missed punches. Hopefully the quality can get better in round 6.
End of R4 A more quieter round, Masternak looking a bit clumsy, but Bellew is coping well with that and seems to be the more dominant fighter at this current moment.
Just been shown live pictures of Anthony Joshua arriving at the O2, still got two fights to go till the main event, but right now Bellew and Masternak are in the ring.
End of R3 In the final few seconds Masternak had Bellew on the ropes, but Bellew managed to bounce back ending the round with a left hook on the Polish fighter.
End of R2 Bellew is still throwing strong punches looking to wear down Masternak quickly. However, Masternak is making Bellew miss. Bellew needs to watch out for any exposed areas he might be offering to Masternak.
End of R1 Bellew is getting some early shots into Masternak and is looking confident. Still very early to tell who will be the winner.
